Just how
popular and talented is your dog? Join us at Bark in the Park at Miles Park Bandshell and
City Pool in Livingston for the Pledge-powered
Pup Parade and hilarious contests to find out! *New*
activities this year: Dog Days of Summer 5 K run (or just walk:
$30 registration fee and you'll receive a deluxe cap, race number and time, and
enjoy refreshments along the well-marked race course. There will be a Blue
Ribbon for the winner and free Doggie Day care for all racers.) Think your dog
is the most popular? Have friends and family sponsor your dog in the new Pledge-Powered Pup Parade and win great prizes: $50 gift certificate to the Beanery for best
dressed dog in the parade, a Video MP3 Player
from Radio Shack for the youth who raises the most money and a $100 car wash
card from K-Park for the adult who raises the most money. If you do not have a
dog, ask people to sponsor a Shelter dog and one will be provided for you to
walk in the Parade. Also new this year: a Kissing Booth (that would be
dog kisses) and instant pet photos.

Look-a-like, Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Best Trick and Best in Show
contests in the Park. There will be prizes for those who place in the contests. There
will also be kids' fair-hair, face painting and
hand-decorated balloons, adoptable Shelter dogs, chair massages, a cooling tent, a raffle, great
local food and plenty of pet products. All funds raised support homeless
animals. Dog or cat food for the Food Pantry is
recommended as admission (so folks with financial difficulties don't have to
surrender their pets) and all leashed, vaccinated dogs are welcome. You don't need to have - or bring - a dog to enjoy this
